QuestionI'm wondering if you can help me? My windows are going to pot. The back left fell into the door; I know I need a window regulator to fix that and ordered one; in the meantime, we fixed it so it's solid, doesn't go up or down of course! The driver's window suddenly got off track, kinda sideways, if you know what I mean, I was able to "guide it" up to the top, but then when I took it down again at a toll booth, it it wouldn't go back up, made no noise at all when I hit the window button, and is now about 3.5" from the top of the window. The front passenger window doesn't go up nor down but can be pulled up to the top with my hands, though it will slide down about 1" over a drive. The right back window is the only one that works (my dog is happy about that).
I would very much appreciate your input about what parts I probably need, if you can tell from this note. The extended warranty I bought when I purchased this used car will replace the window motor but I don't think it will replace other parts. Thanks a million for your insight.
AnswerWindow Regulator Roller, one per window, they break off and must be replaced.
