Mercedes: Power windows, window switches, wikka

Question
I have a 1985 Mercedes 300e. the pasenger side window will not function. Can this be repaired at home or is it  job that requires a dealer?

This is a home DIY.
Start with the switch, it is easy to remove and clean.
