Mitsubishi: inermittent starting problem and stalling, fuel, fuel pump

91 Galant awd non turbo(actually Eagle2000gtx)
First had rapid clicking from fuel pump and then car stalled
Started in about 15 min.
Ran good for couple days then stalled after starting and driving for about 2 min.Started in about 15 min.
Replaced fuel pump, relay and fuel filter.
First did not start,then started later
Then didn't start and later started.

Answer
First thing after replacing the fuel pump it may not start for the first few tries until it is primed. (when fuel fills the entire system)  After it is primed it should start almost instantly from then on.  It is possible that there is a clog of some kind near the fuel rail. If you have good pressure there at the fuel rail(regulator or injectors) then your starting issue as far as fuel goes should now be resolved.  By the way what is the model of motor? 2.0 DOHC? is is the 4g63?
