Mitsubishi: Endeavor transmisssion issue, tsb number, mitsubishi endeavor

Question
QUESTION: I have a 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor with 18,000 miles on it. As of late the transmission does not shift smoothly any more. When you take your foot off the gas it seems to float before dropping down and other times it drops fast and then I hear a clunk in the back end somewhere. Problem seems to be between 20 and 40 mph. Dealer said it was a shift flare and performed a TSB on it, replacing a bearing or something in the transmission but that hasn't helped at all. I even disconnected the battery thinking that would reset the shift points. Any ideas that I can suggest to the dealer? Thanks.

ANSWER: I need to pull my TSBs at work.. I don't think there was a TSB on the tranny. Could the TSB been on a rear diff? But really I need to pull my notes can I get with you later?

QUESTION: At your convenience. I am looking at the work order and I don't know what a TSB number would look like so I'll give you what I see here: 23301095. It also references a 'diagnosis of a 2-3 shift flare'. Hope that helps. And thanks.

Answer
i pulled the TSBs with the labor code you gave me... If you are still having problems I would take it to another dealer Some Dealers have more experienced Techs then others and make sure it was done correctly.. Going by the TSB it should have fixed your problem.. Unless your rear diff is going out?
