Mitsubishi: i need you help, theft deterrent, 3000gt

i have 94 3000gt my battery was removed When I started the car the radio asked me for a code i try 3 time after that  My radio says OFF what how i can reset to radio to be able to enter the code
please help me

Hi Dave,

You'll love this. You will need to turn the key to the on position and leave the driver door open for 30 minutes. This will reset the radio so that you can put a code in. To get the code you will need to remove the radio and get the serial number off the back. Call to Nissan and they will give you an 800 number to call and get the code. It's a theft deterrent. Pretty effective if you ask me.
