QuestionThanks for the speedy answer. Since last time, I let the car run a little bit and tried to drive it.It stalled again, just like before. Oh, the check engine light did not come on either time. This was a complete suprise. I'm having it scanned tomorrow.

When I put the clutch in on my 1995 3000gt when down shifting it stalls. I restarted it but stalled again stalled with the clutch in. Finally it would not start at all. After a little bit the car started and seems to run fine with the clutch in. I have not messed with the wiring at all but did have a flowmaster muffler installed recently. Would that be the problem?

Well, that could be the problem, the exhaust system... But there could be 3 dozen other things doing this as well. OK, maybe 2 dozen, so first, is the check engine light on? To get a better feel for the direction we need to go, I suggest we go have the car scanned. There are a number of places that will scan your car for free, Cottman Transmission and Pep Boys to name two. I need to know which codes are present so I can tell you where to start instead of just throwing parts at it. I think it's going to be a MAF sensor. I could almost bet on it, but please have your car scanned first. Then we'll tackle this from there. Remember, knowing the codes and what to do with them is key here.

Sorry, I had a busy day at my real job...The one that pays! LOL I was thinking about this today and was wondering if you had it scanned yet? Please keep me informed on this. I want to follow this one closely. Using the info from the scan incorrectly will cause you to chase the wrong thing to fix it. Obviously costing you money without repairing the issue.
