Mitsubishi: lancer engines, mivec engine, engine mounts

g'day,  
    i was wondering if there would b much difficulty in putting a 1.6 ltr dohc mivec engine into a 1996 cc lancer. if so, wat difficulties would i b facing?

G'day hank.

Well i have just gotten my engine changed over i have a 1994 cc 2 door lancer coupe which recently had a 1.5l carbi engine and i had it changed to a 1.8l turbo 16V twin cam.

we had very few problems the engine u are installing is very much the same but not turbo'd so i dont see why there should be any problems in fitting it.

If there are any problems they will be fixable.

1. Engine mounts might need to be made, altered or changed.
2. The computer and wiring harness may need to be changed.
