Nissan: Turn Single, nissan pathfinder, fuzes

Hi.
I have a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder.
My turn single just quit working.  I checked the fuzes and they are ok.  Next I purchased a new turn single assembley etc.. from Nissan. I just installed it and they still don't work.  
I called Nissan & they advised me to bring it in for them to service.  I like to fix it my self.  Do you have any suggestions?

I need more information. WHat did you install? Lens, switch? and what are the symptoms? Are both sides out? WHen you hit the switch do they light up and not flash or do they do nohting at all. Does you four way flasher work? Also note that you should never replace anything unless you have diagnosed it and it needs to be replaced. Save your money
