Oldsmobile/Buick: 1968 442, classic muscle cars, fender wells

I have a 1968 442 vin is 344878M171388. I bought the car three years ago to restore and now must sell.  Iam however getting an education about classic muscle cars since trying to sell.  My question is this my car has the red inner fender wells assocoated with a W30 car, however I have no paper documentation.  Is ther a way to aauthenticate the car.  All Lansing Oldsmobile could tell me were some of the car originally came with were a Hurst competition shifer and thermal plastic inner wells.   
Any in sight you can give will be appreciated.

Having the vin decoded should have yielded some result. Try joining a few 442 forums , sounds long and drawn out but you'd be suprised how many people have answers to these types of questions. I don't ;)
