Hi Harold, Ihave just done the lifters on this 2 litre turbo motor. I think I might have a vaccum problem due to my memory of how it went back together and am having a heck of a time finding diagrams for the darn thing. I have an Haynes manual but it is very scant on this suject. After putting it all back together I have plenty of spark but no fuel. Anything you could offer for advice would be greatly appreciated ,Thx

You dont have a vacuum problem(at least not yet), you have a fuel problem. You need to find out why you dont have any fuel first. Vacuum is created by the piston moving down in the cylinder, but it wont stop you from getting fuel to the injector. You should have fuel pressure and injector pulse anytime that the engine is cranking, even if you didn't have any pistons in it to create a vacuum.
