Pontiac: Transmission oil change, transmission oil change, pontiac grand am

Question
I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Am GT with the 3400 in it. I need to know how to tell when the transmission is full of fluid, and where you check it at. I found the fill plug but no dip stick

Answer
There is a plug in the end of the trans on the passenger side of the veh. You will need to start the car, remove the plug, let the car run in park until it is up to operating temp, add fluid through the fill hole until it runs out of the other hole. Put the plug back in BEFORE you shut the car off. You must do everything I said in the exact same order or all of the fluid will blow out of the hole.
