Pontiac: Power Windows, little at a time, experience problems

Question
I have a 1993 Grand Am SE 4 door.  I have been having a problem in which the drivers window will sometimes not go down/up.  Eventually it will but I may have to keep pushing it a little at a time until it goes up.  The drivers window the only window that has this problem.  Has the motor gone bad?  Do you know if this model has a history of poorly made Power window systems?  What would you suggest?

Answer
From experience, problems with windows usually require a new motor.  In some cases it can be the mechanism that gets sticky, but your car is too new to have those sorts of problems, and I'd doubt it's anything but the motor.
At 7 years that motor has probably already exceeded the expectations GM had when they designed it, so that's a pretty long time.  My Seville, just had the same problem, but it would just get stuck, and overheat and it would not move until it cooled down, very annoying.  I ordered a new motor off wrenchead.com and replaced it and the window is back to normal.

Hope this helps.
