Porsche: European car (porsche 944) to US specification., porsche cars, porsche 944

I am considering shipping my Porsche 944(1986) to US. That car has an original reading of 160.000 miles on it. I've been putting lot of money in that car to make it like a new car. But Unfortunately I have to leave Germany on a time I did not expect to leave. I would like to know, how I could convert that car to US spec, by myself or find someone to do it for me. Please let me know how you could help me to solve that issue.

My advice to you would be to sell the car locally.  It isn't worth the expense to modify it and ship it in my opinion.  Use the money from the sale of the car and the money you saved by not modifying it or shipping it to buy another 944 in the US once you arrive.

Should you decide to go ahead with your original plan, I am unfortunately unable to provide you with a contact directly who may assist you.  I would try to make contact with the local PCA (Porsche Cars America) club after you ship the car here for help with modifying it.
