I am planning a trip and the last 3 miles to the lodge is a dirt road.Just dirt. Will this cause any problems with the engine?

No.  You shouldn't have any problem navigating a dirt road in a Porsche Boxster.  Prolonged dirt road trips may necessitate changing your engine's air filter, but a one time trip to the lodge should not be a concern.  I'd be more concerned about the tires and undercarriage.  If the dirt road has deep ruts or rocks or some other road hazards, those types of things could be more troubling.
