Porsche: RMS, cpo warranty, enrollment costs

Question
I am buying a 2002 Boxter from a dealer.  This car just had the engine replaced by Porsche because of the RMS problem.  It has 32400 miles but the dealer says the car is more valuable now that it has a new engine. Do you think this assessment is correct?
Also they don't know if it has a sport touring package.  How can you tell whether it has this package?

Answer
The car is still under warranty.  I don't believe that it is any more or less valuable than any other 32,000 mile Boxster.  For additional peace of mind you can look for a certified pre-owned Boxster which will include an extended warranty covering 6 years from the in-service date or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.  A CPO warranty enrollment costs the dealer $1595 plus any additional work they must do to meet the certification inspection requirements.  You can ask them if they will certify the car you're looking at (assuming it isn't already).

All of the car's option codes are listed on a white sticker underneath the front cargo lid.  Pop the front deck lid and write down all the option codes.  Then you can look up the codes on the internet at: http://www.kindel.com/Porsche/options.asp
I'm not familiar with a "sport touring package".  What is your understanding of what that package included?
