Saab: Saab 900 clutch bleed, clutch master cylinder, clutch system

Question
Hi! OK; I replaced clutch master cylinder.  I rigged up a spare resoivor cap with an inner tube + schrader valve & hose clamp.  Tried bleeding system per instructions.  No fluid at bleed valve. Made sure resoivor line to master was clear.  Tried pressurzing line from master to slave, but no air or fluid. Am in backyard without shop & compressor.  Can supply line to slave be blocked or can there be a problem with slave cylinder. Supply line connection to slave tough to get at. Short of cutting & rerouting;
am planning to back fill at bleed and through supply line at master before reconnecting and repressurizing.  Any suggestions were to go.  Thanks.

Answer
Tony:
  Yeah, bleeding the clutch system can be difficult, mainly because the brake fluid has to pass through the master cyl on its way to the slave..and the rubber seal tends to obstruct it. I've used pressure from above and pumped the pedal repeatedly while pressurized..works after awhile. If you wish to remove the master cyl, you can bleed it on the bench by backfilling and pumping..creating a partial vacuum to keep the fluid in place before reattaching the line. Clumsy, but possible.
         Hope this helps,
