Saab: 2005 Saab 93 convertable Transmission, 2005 saab 93, limp home

Hi. I have a 2005 saab 93 turbo convertable The transmission begings to slip only when the car is hot and will actually go into limp home mode. Once the car is cooled it runs fine shifts fine. As soon as it gets hot hot it starts slipping again. However I can go 700 highways miles and the car runs not missing a beat. Any Ideas??

 As noted in my profile, my hands on experience is limited to the older 900's. I can only guess that the slippage might be caused by transmission fluid overheating (is there a transmission cooler and if so, is it functioning correctly?)Also, have you changed the fluid? That might help.
