Saab: 1995 900s electrical issues, electrical issues, electrical problem

I have a electrical problem with my 95' 900,  at times the windows, wipers and sunroof do not work. This happens intermittently and is very difficult to diagnose. This happens sometimes while I'm driving.  I would appreciate any idea you may have.  I haven't taken it to the dealer yet as that is quite expensive and I would rather do the work myself.  Anything you can do to shed some light on this would be appreciated.

 As stated in my profile, my hands on experience is limited to the older (1993 and earlier) 900s. However, on those models the fuses for the power windows & sunroof are located in an auxiliary panel under the rear seat...I am not sure if that applies to your vehicle, but SAAB designs are very conservative and consistent from year to year. I would start by checking the fuses and connections there.
