QUESTION: Jerry  . found it, thank for the immediate response . check switch it's working ,the lights still won't work come on. if i ground the brake light assembly to the body will that help or is there another solution . fuse okay

Answer
Richard:  A common problem is often a loss of ground return, so YES, go ahead and ground the brake light circuit. If that fails, the easiest solution is to run a separate wire from the brake light switch, under the carpet, all the way back to the light assembly, assuming that +12 V has reached the switch. Otherwise, you'll need to start at the fuse box.
