Saab: high/low beams, low beams, hands on experience

Question
Cant get that sping off that allows me to replace my bulb.  The manual says little about how to get the spring off except to pull it sideways.

Any suggestions?

 I am sorry, but I do not understand your question. Please tell me the year and model of your vehicle. Note that as stated in my profile, my hands-on experience is limited to 1993 and older 900's. Also, try to describe more fully your problem.
