Saab: vehicle wont start, hands on experience, automatic transmission

I have a 2000 Saab convertible When I turn the key on everything comes on but wont start

Danny: As stated in my profile, my hands-on experience is limited to the earlier 900's only. However,given your symptoms, I would check (a)" The "neutral start switch" (if you have an automatic transmission) and (b) The starter itself. If you need help with the procedure, I can help in a general way.
