Saab: Clutch Shaft, narrow space, slave cylinder

Question
I'm having a similar problem. I just replaced my slave cylinder and now the clutch shaft won't go in all the way. I tried loosening the pressure plate bolts but there isn't much play. Please help.

Paul:
What you need to do is loosen the pressure plate bolts and pry the pressure plate away from the flywheel just enough to allow free movement of the disc. You could use a screwdriver to do this. Then you have to move the disc a bit to center it while pushing gently in the clutch shaft. I usually use two screwdrivers, pushed against the sides of the disc in the narrow space between the pressure plate and flywheel to do this.

 Hope this helps,
