Saab: fuel heater sensor on saab 95, saab 95, fuel heat

Question
I have been told that the "fuel heat sensor" on my 2001 95 estate needs replacing. Is this something I can do myself and does the part have another name. The car still runs well but smokes on first starting in cold weather and engine light is on

Answer
Bryan:
As noted in my profile, my hands-on experience is limited to the older, pre-1992 900's. Therefore I cannot answer your question. Components such as the "fuel heat sensor" are usually fairly easy to replace, but understandably, I cannot be sure in this case.
