Saab: starts when it wants, elusive nature, intermittent problems

Question
My car is an automatic '93 Saab. First sign of problem: I started my car to warm up, it stopped running after a minute, and wouldn't turn over again till hours later. Ran fine for 2 days after. Next problem: Was running fine 3rd morning, drove 20 miles away and when I tried to go home my car started fine. But I drove about 7 feet and it stopped running while in "drive". I started it right back up and drove about 30 yards and it stopped running again. I waited 2 minutes and started it again and drove home no problems. My car has been starting and running fine for a few days. Today it wouldn't start. It was turning over sluggish and not sluggish at the same time but wouldn't fire. It is cold here but I'm not sure of the problem. Thanks for any advice.

Answer
Crystal:
In order of probability, I would check the fuel pump and its relay and then the "spark-producing" module and circuitry. Sometimes these intermittent problems are hard to find by their elusive nature, but your's appear frequently enough so that a reasonably good mechanic ought to find the problem readily.
