Saab: Saab 9-3 climate control knobs, control knobs, robert bentley

Question
I have a 1999 9-3 convertible with some broken heat control knobs, so through the joy of ebay I found a matching manual climate control panel.  Now I need to find out how to install the thing.  Before I go tearing apart the dash, am I going to need any special tools or knowledge, or can a reasonably competent person figure it out?  Know of a good source for diagrams of this part of the dash?  I like to be prepared in advance.

 I am sorry, but I did not have 'first-hand' knowledge of the SAAB 9-3; only of the 900 series as I'd stated. However, remember human hands assembled the dash so they can certainly fix it!! First I eould recommend a good book. Haynes, ok, but even better, the "Robert Bentley" series.
Second, remember, there is logic to every assembly..if something does not go 'easily', ask yourself 'why' rather than apply force. That rule plus the Bently book should make the job easy and ultimately, rewarding.
