Saab: 96 Saab 9000, saab 9000cs, saab 9000s

Question
I notice your expertise suggests classic 1980's Saab 900s and not 96 Saab 9000s, but I hoped that perhaps you could help me.  I have been told that my Saab 9000CS needs to have the oil pan removed and sludge cleaned out to improve oil pressure.  I am having trouble with this dianosis because I have faithfully changed the oil and filter every 6K since I have owned the car (the last 4 years and 100,000 miles), but that being said, my real question is:

Does it really take 8 to 12 hours just to drop the oil pan on this car?

Thanks for any help.

Answer
I am very unfamilier with the 9000. Because your car is 94'or later, you have GM motor in it. I would suggest that you call mile high saab in Denver (http://www.milehibodyshop.com/) - they have some chemical treatments that will make removing the pan unnecessary.
