Toyota: Toyota Corolla fuel injection, toyota corolla, fe engine

Hi,I have a 2002 automatic Corolla with a 1ZZ-FE engine. my question is, is fuel still being injected when the engine is on overrun ? ie wheels driving the engine.

Dear Eric,

The  1992 Corolla's engine, the 1ZZ-FE is a freewheeling engine. Hence, there won't be any fuel injection while the overrun clutch is activated.

Was this question asked just out of curiosity or are there any implications to be made out of this sir??
