Toyota: 98 supra, decent model, intake tube

Question
I have the potential to buy a 98 TT supra with I believe 32000 some miles on it.  My questions are 1) is this a decent model or should I look for a more recent one? and 2) Its selling for 4500 flat which seems a little low, what is the actual value of this car (in other words what major issues could exist in this car to have such a low price).  Finally 3) do supras have a decent longevity?

Answer
That is an amazingly low price...

I would be very cautious, as the Supras are worth much more than that. We paid 12,500 for ours, with 77 K miles on it.

What I WOULD be aware of, is that the TT is VERY EXPENSIVE to insure.

Things to look for:

Oil in the intake tube from the intercooler to the intake manifold. Oil present? Bad turbos.

Any hesitation whilst starting off.

Abnormal tire wear (on the insides)

Any colour smoke coming out of the tailpipe.

Note that the interior of the tailpipe SHOULD be sooty.
