Toyota: odometer rollback, odometer statement, odometer rollback

2 yrs ago I purchased a used 03 Corolla from a dealership and the Odometer Statement read 48,156 mi, which was on the odometer on car, but recently I tried to sell the same vehicle and a carfax.com report came back saying "possible odometer rollback or clerical error", it showed 58,150 mi at purchase 2 yrs ago. my question is: "Is it possible to rollback a digital odometer?" and how to fix this situation?

It is impossible to "roll back" a digital speedometer.
What one can do, however, is EXCHANGE the existing speedometer assembly with another unit that displays lower miles. The replacement unit will display wahtever miles that were on the car that it was removed from.
