Toyota: oil, 1994 volvo 940, volvo 940

Question
I drive a 2000 Toyota Sienna van 60,000 miles and a 1994 Volvo 940 with 160,000 miles on it.  I have been using Castro Synthec synthetic oil with each oil change.

How much difference does it make to use this more expensive oil?  Is it worth it?

Answer
Hello,

on your car it doesn't make a lot of difference... in sport cars it does: it lubricates parts better, it keeps high temperatures well, in fact lets the engine live longer.
It's like cooking with a good olive oil, or a bad "normal" oil...
