Toyota: Car buying, celica gt four, car show room

Question
I looking for a car. I have between £7000 - 9000 that i can spend.
Obviously I want something that looks good, is fast (0-60 in 8.5sec and below) and is fully loaded.
I instantly thought of a Celica. However, I went to a local prestige car show-room and said this to them. He pointed me to an Alfa Romeo. It was fully loaded and had everything I was looking for, Full electrics, air con leather seats......but all in all its not built to last like a Toyota. With the criteria I've mentioned, can you recomend a car?
I went to see a Toyota Dealer, they told me that Celica's rearly have leather seats or air con whic was a bit of a put off. Espeacially when parting with the money i'm talking of spending.
Can you HELP?
Thanks in advance
Daryl

Answer
Hello!

Where do you live? I'm from Switzerland, so things may be different here...

Alfa Romeo are nice, but quality isn't as far as good as in a Toyota!
Try to find a Celica GT Four ST205 (2.0 Turbo 4X4 243hp) or a Carlos Sainz Edition ST185 (2.0 Turbo 4X4 208 hp), they are quite fast (0-60 under 6.5sec) very good handling and quality is top. If you're in the UK, try here for some help finding a good one: http://www.celica-club.co.uk/

Hope this helps!
