Toyota: A tyre pressure problem, tyre pressure, toyota corolla

Question
Hello

I was looking for an answer in the following question for quite a long time and I hope  you can help me:

I own a Toyota Corolla '94 which recommends 36psi/33psi front/back tyre pressure with medium load and 38/38 with full load.
I recently replaced my tyres to Kumho Ecsta with 185/65 R14 size. This tyre recommends of 36psi as max pressure.

Using the 36/33 pressure setting, I notice that the suspension system is reacting really "hard" to bumps although the handling is very good. If i deflate the tyres to 32/30 as some car and tyre engineers recommend, the steering wheel becomes rather heavy and I notice that I have to press more on the gas pedal in order to accelerate same as before, so I guess this pressure setting is really not any good.

I think that driving with max tyre pressure is bad for the whole chassis because the tyres now have lost almost all of their flexibility and all the absorption work is moved to the suspension system. Is this correct? Should I look for tyres with more max allowed pressure and replace as soon as possible? Or can I just ignore all these speculations and continue driving in the current conditions?

Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello!

I think is the tyre brand which has this peculiarity, it's harder than your old tyres. I think simply replacing them will change the way the car feels.
Driving with a low pressure is not good, it's dangerous, and you use more fuel!

Hope this helps!
