Volkswagen: VW Beetle 1974, fuel consumption, declan

Hello, I have bought an old VW Beetle and it is my first car. It is in brilliant condition except that the mileage gauge does not work. Therefore, I am unable to check how much the fuel consumption is per Kilometer. My question is how many Kilometers can i get to a liter with my car?

Hi Declan,

Congratulations on your purchase!  You will have many years of fun driving.  I have a 1974 as well, and enjoy it very much.

You can expect about 12.5 Kilometers per liter with your beetle.
