Volkswagen: 79 conv bug, horn button, vw parts

Where can I find the original horn button for a 79conv super beetle? My cig. lighter works but how do I get my ipod or phone charger to fit? They are smaller than the hole.

The original horn pad (I presume this is what you are looking for) is an item that is not available anymore as new.  The best place to find it is a used parts recycler.

This guy is excellent and has tons of used VW parts.

The ipod/phone charger should fit in the lighter for the beetle.  If it does not, most likely the tabs that hold it in are broken or bent.

The best way to fix it is again, to try 'vw bob' and tell him you are looking for the lighter casing and would like to make sure that it firmly holds in a standard charger.
