Volkswagen: 99 Passat 4 cyl. Turbo, pcv valve, vacuum lines

Hi, car starts and runs for maybe two seconds and dies.  Fuel pump comes on every time, took the fuel line off at the fuel rail, and getting plenty of fuel.  Also, not sure if related or not, but for some reason neither the power windows, locks, or sunroof work at all. I am pretty much stumped and any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think the two are related.  The first issue sounds like a gross manifold leak.  Check the hose where the PCV valve connects into the manifold.  Also check all the vacuum lines.  With the age of the car, they are all most likely shot.

The second is a problem with the comfort control module.  It's located under the driver seat.  Has the car ever had standing water on the floor?
