Volkswagen: 1978 VW Bus, vanagon, diesel engine

Hi Ron-  I am considering installing a diesel engine in my 1978 bus.  Is this
possible?  And who would I contact to purchase one?   I would like to eventually
run vegtable oil in it.

Hi Glenn,

The Vanagon (water-cooled) engine has a diesel.  

I have never heard of installing a water cooled diesel into that type of bus, however, I am going to provide you with a web site of 'bus pros' that may be able to help you.
