Volkswagen: VW Golf t reg, auto cars, vw golf

HI. I've recently bought a Golf. When I slow down and then try and speed up in second gear the car seems to judder for a few seconds. After a few seconds (after reaching a certain speed) the car is ok. Its as if the fuel is struggling to get to the engine.

fuel problem is a possiblity.  Please tell me what year your car is and what model.  Is this a gas motor or diesel?  Is this car a manual transmission or auto.  (you can shift the auto cars now too!) If the motor is gas run.. what is the engine size, 1.8, 1.8t, 2.0, 2.8, etc.
