Volvo: S80 2.9 camshaft locking tool, tool number, correct position

Question
Hi Ray, we need to establish the correct position of the camshafts as this vehicle has come in with a broken belt. I am assuming there is a special locking tool that goes across the back of the head/camshaft. Do you know if the tool is the only way to set it up & if so what the part number for tool is? Many thanks

Answer
Gary,
Some techs say they made a tool that will fit the rear of the cams, holding them straight across from each other. Then put the crank on the mark (as you would doing a belt) to keep things lined up. The special tool number is.... 9995452 9995451 That is the cam holding tool and the pin to place the crank in position. The tool that holds the top cover as you remove/replace it is...
9995454.
