Volvo: Volvo lost key, volvo dealer, volvo s70

Question
I have lost my keys to my 1998 Volvo S70 GTL and do not have a spare key.  Can volvo make me a replacement key without the car actually being at the dealer? Also, please note that the key that opens the door was different that the one that the ignition key and that one was lost as well is this something a Volvo dealer can help with? thanks in advance for your help

If the key that operates the ignition is still the original one the key code should be in Volvo's data base. Your dealer will be able to have a key made for you. You will have to contact the dealer with your VIN to start the process. If the ignition was changed and you do not have the key code, you will have to have the entire lock assembly changed. Same goes for the door locks.
