Volvo: v70 starting problem, throttle position sensor, electronic throttle

hi ray , mine is a 2000 model v70 2.4 auto est it has 193k on clock , just had major belt change service at volvo , and throttle position sensor and battery , and new key fob , alarm sounder has had fuse removed as it kept going off sporadically but now it just wont start it turns over and fires but dies immediately , it happend before and the rac said there was no power to the injectors they towed it to the garage and it started , thats when they changed the battery , now its done it again but if i leave it for a few days it will start and run fine then it happens again any ideas please , i,m no teccy and there are no fault lights on dash , regards steve

Ever if there are no warning lights on I would have the codes read to see if there is one that is pending. If there is no power to the injectors sounds like a control unit or throttle housing module fault. Check to see if there is an updated electronic throttle housing download at the dealer. Otherwise I have not heard of a problem like yours.
