Volvo: Installation of an after-market radio, volvo s70, salvage yards

Question
My brother thought he could install a new radio into my 1998 Volvo S70 and he forgot/didn't think it would be intelligent to use a harness.  He cut the main wires (all of them) with the adapter attached less than an inch from the adapter and then realized his mistake when he couldn't wire the new one in.  Is there a way to fix this error?  Is it as simple as buying a new adapter (replacement) of the factory one that he cut off?  Where would I get it from?  I am so pissed about this it isn't even funny.

Thanks!

Answer
Mark,
You can try to reattach the wires and solder them. I would say that the plug will be available at the dealer, but you still need the solderless connectors that the wires attach to so you can snap it into the plastic plug. Could also call some Volvo only salvage yards and have them sell you a new plug with say 6 inches of wire to splice in.
