Volvo: 96 chevy camaro, chevy camaro, engine coolant

Question
i have a 96 chevy camaro im having all sorts of problems. I check my tranny fluid and it keeps going low then my oil in my 3.8 v6 is brown almost like water. But i dont believe its water i think it tranny fluid getting into my motor oil is there a way to fix this. Some say its my vacum line to the trans but dont know ? please help local kid north dakota thanx

Answer
Robert,
Check the radiator cooler for the trans it maybe leaking internally. You may have to flush the trans and engine fluid a few times to remove the oil/water from where it does not belong. Look at the vacuun line from the trans is it full of fluid if it is replace the trans vacuum modulator. Look closely at the engine coolant hoses sometimes the oil in the coolant swells the hoses.
