Volvo: Volvo 240S front windshield weatherstrip, time dad, time michael

Question
As an unemployed & disabled part-time dad, what can I do to temporarily seal the loose front windshield weatherstripping, without using something that will damage the paint, & is inexpensive?  I suspect duct tape adhesive can be very difficult to remove, & may damage the paint.  Thank you in advance for your time.

Answer
Michael,
There is no CHEAP fix. If it is not sealed correctly there will be leaks, lost weather stripping, and a mouldings that vibrates as the wind hits the windshield. Save for the right fix and fore go spending money on a "temporary" repair, not worth it. The windshield protects those in the vehicle and serves am impotant roll to keep the car dry and wind free, it is one of those things that needs to be done the right way.
