Volvo: 2000 V-40 Error Codes, coolant temp, variable valve timing

Question
Just spent ~$1,500.00 and the check engine light is still on.  the DTC found are ECM A1, ECM 76, ECM 60, ECM 61 and ECM 9A.  Cannot find any listing of the codes, can you tell me what they mean and what it will take to eliminate the check engine light?  Make private if Email inof is to be disclosed.

Answer
Bob,
Code A1 Engine coolant temp is out of range, too cool.
76 There are some codes stored in the trans system that have an effect on emission levels.
60-61 Variable valve timing is not correct.
9A communication between the immobilizer and engine control unit has fault.
You need to monitor the different areas and make the repairs. Codes in the trans will need reading and then repaired. Coolant temp needs to be checked and repaired as needed. Variable valve timing will require monitoring to see what is out of range, like the is the belt off does the VVT work, are the oil passages to the VVT solenoid blocked or not working. The immobilizer needs to be monitored to find what area is not operational. First read and clear all codes, those might be hampering the communication.
