Volvo: s40 (code 700), america web site, world pac

Hi. My question is on a 2001 S40. Check engine light on . car had the forward arrow flashing. Stuck switch at shifter due to syrup on it. Fixed that one. Check engine light showed 2 hard codes po115 and po723. I installed a new coolant temp sensor and Po115 went away so I decided to replace the transmission output sensor. code PO723 went away. But I am now getting a PO700 standard transmission code. My scanner is only the Snapon Modis and not the Vida.
Question 1) any suggestions . 2) where might I be able to purchase the Vida ?

Go to the Volvo of America web site, that might show a link to the VIDA. Try from the place you by parts World Pac, SAVE, SSF some of them can also get the VIDA. Without the right code, at least something more specific, I do not know what the fault is. Is there a dealer you can have the codes read at?
