Volvo: 93 240 dash lights, brake failure, dash lights

Question
When driving at times my parking brake, brake failure, battery, light's out indicator, and abs indicator lights come on. My dad is a mechanic and he has checked my brakes and has concluded that it cannot be my brakes, i'm thinking it's probally electrical considering my car is running the same as it has before.

When the lights are on is the charging system sufficiently charging? If the voltage to the cluster has dropped off due to alt not charging that will allow the lights to glow. Check to be sure the alt still has a good ground wire and that the regulator/brush pack has not failed. If all that checks out check for proper grounding at the cluster making sure that all the wires fit tightly and secure.
