Volvo: 2000 Volvo S80, engine oil pressure, low oil pressure

My Volvo has a multitude of issues. The two issues of immediate concern are...it revvs up and down and then shuts off, idles loudly. It shuts off when completing a turn, shuts off while slowing in traffic and stop and go traffic. Also has a low engine oil pressure reading. I have also recently noticed some spots of oil looking substance in my driveway. Just need to be able to drive this vehicle safely until I can trade. Thanks!

For the idle there is a upgraded software download through the dealer. Some cars are still cover as that is also a warranty issue on some models. Low oil pressure, could be the seals for the oil pump pick up have dried and not sealing well so some air is sucked into the system which causes low oil pressure. That job requires oil pan removal to replace the seals. The oil leakage will need to be determined before any repair... Low pressure and leakage are two different problems
