Volvo: 1997 Volvo V70 Estate, volvo v70, waking up the neighbours

My car can stand all day with the alarm on OK but during the night it activates without warning, waking up the neighbours. I then have to deactivate it and lock the car with the key so that the alarm is not active. Do you think taking the alarm fuse out is the best solution? any help would be gratefully receveived

If you are sure that the car is not being tampered with, try removing the fuse to see if that works. Take the car to the shop as soon as you can to get it repaired. If you do remove the fuse there might be other accessories that also are using that fuse that will not work, read the cover to see what else might be affected...
