Volvo: 850glt 93 auto gearbox issue, volvo 850 glt, volvo 850

hi there. recently got a volvo 850 glt 1993. the auto gearbox flashing arrow came on and stayed on. looked at the fault codes as i got a 1-2-1. in the meantime i also cleaned connection on gearbox and the light has now gone out. the car seened to be driving ok . do you think its something to investigate further?

I would be tempted to leave it alone as long as it is working ok. The code you have is for an internal solenoid. I once went into a  gear box and fit one, but others have failed. The solenoid come all three as a kit from what I remember. Most of the older cars that I get with internal problems I replace the trans with a used one.
