Volvo: 91 - 940SE Turbo intermittant stall, vacuum leak, socket 6

Question
My 940 has been stalling for some time now at all speeds.  The RPM's instantly drop to zero, sometimes they will pick back up on their own and sometimes they will stay down.  If they stay down, all dash lights come on and I have trouble restarting the car.  I've found that sometimes I can mash down on the brakes real quick when the RPM's drop and they will pick back up. My CEL is on and I'm coming up with OBD codes 113, 131 and 232 in socket 2 and 214 in socket 6.  I took it to my mechanic and he re-soldered the board on the fuel pump/ECM relay, and I cleared the codes.  Now the problem still exists, but CEL isn't coming on and I've only got one code now which is 232.  I know this type of problem has been around before, but I can't find a surefire fix.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Answer
Mike,
If you have code 214 that is the flywheel pick up. Many times I see them where the wires are frayed. I would replace that. The 232 is fuel trim, that could be a vacuum leak. Now because the brake power booster uses vacuum, and stepping on the brake makes some difference, check the booster for leakage.
